This is an x-ray of a child with a button battery in his esophagus. It starts to burn the tissue within a couple of hours after it is ingested, so if your child does swallow a battery by accident, it is important to go to the emergency room as soon as possible.

Have you been diagnosed with the flu? Did you know there's a new medication for the flu called Xofluza?
Unlike Tamiflu which makes the flu symptoms less severe, Xofluza actually KILLS the flu virus where it replicates. It's a one-time dose, and most people start to feel better within 24 hours.
You need to start on this medication within two days of being diagnosed, and it comes in two strengths: one for people 80 kgs and above and one for patients less than 80 kgs.
Xofluza was recently FDA-approved to be used prophylactically in high risk patients who were exposed to the flu.
Ask your doctor if XOFLUZA is right for you.

There's a NEW drug to combat the flu. It was approved by the FDA last October.
It's the ONLY drug on the market that actually KILLS the flu virus. Tamiflu will shorten the severity of your symptoms, but Xofluza actually KILLS the virus. The dose is two tablets one time, and you get better really quick. Ask your healthcare provider if it's right for you if you come down with influenza.
Go to their website if you need a coupon: www.Xofluza.com

The new drug, sold as Xofluza, is about as effective as Tamiflu in shortening flu symptoms, and is expected to work against drug-resistant strains.
