March is recognized as Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time dedicated to increasing public awareness of the needs, strengths, and potential of individuals with developmental disabilities. This observance highlights the importance of providing the encouragement, resources, and opportunities necessary for individuals to lead productive lives and achieve their fullest potential.

At McBryde Therapy OPS we are thankful we can play a small part in encouraging, strengthening, and making those with disabilities feel stronger in such a harsh world.

We recognize and appreciate all of our parents/patients with trusting us to carry out their treatment and to be able to make a difference in their lives. 

We ask that you wear the color orange this month to show your support to those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Orange symbolizes positivity and inclusion to help promote awareness and acknowledge capabilities of those with disabilities.

Gardening with Mrs. Jordin in OT! Learning leisure and daily life skills!

At McBryde Therapy OPS, we love getting our kids involved to help with tasks around the clinic. Today we worked on problem solving, bilateral upper extremity coordination, hand eye coordination, and in-hand manipulation while modifying a walker wagon for another kiddo. There is always satisfaction found in being able to help others.
