The Waltonwood Ashburn Holiday Staff Party kicked off with an associate appreciation gift give away. The staff informed us of their favorite holiday song and picked up a surprise gift. The festivities continued with a holiday dinner where staff were served by managers. A fun holiday themed music trivia game was followed by our annual holiday party raffle. Congratulations to Janet Holmes, our 2025 Waltonwood Ashburn Employee of the Year. It was a fantastic day celebrating the season along with the employees who bring the magic every day and make Waltonwood Ashburn a great place to both work and live.

We were thrilled to celebrate our annual Holiday Open House with friends and family! The community felt warm, cozy, and truly ready for the holiday season. 🎄✨

Our Chef and his incredible culinary team prepared a festive holiday menu that no one could resist. Guests left with warm hearts, full bellies, and a delicious chocolate Bundt cake to enjoy at home.

Thank you to everyone who joined us—we loved celebrating with you and hope to see you again next year!

Waltonwood residents showed their acts of kindness by donating to three very important and much needed causes this holiday season.

The Veterans’ Club collected toys and donated them to Toys for Tots for less fortunate children.

The Bear Ladies (a knitting and crocheting group) hosted a Teddy Bear luncheon. Participants brought a stuffed animal for a donation to Mobile Hope, an organization that provides support to homeless children.

The Bear Ladies also handmade toy animals and donated them to Agape Pregnancy Center for newborn and infant children.

These philanthropic acts are sure to lift many spirits this festive holiday season.

A huge milestone has been reached here at Waltonwood Ashburn. Happy 100th birthday to Elsa, also know as Oma! 🎉

Elsa was born and raised in Rothenberg Germany and continues to cherish all of the beautiful things about her country. We thought it was only best if we threw her a German themed party! The room was decorated in blue and white, we enjoyed apple strudels and black forest cherry cake and listened to traditional German folk music playing in the background.

On Tuesday, we honored Veterans Day with day long patriotic programs. We hosted three award ceremonies, patriotic sing alongs and a luncheon for resident and staff veterans. Thank you to retired Marine Corp Colonel McClaren for speaking at our event.

Thank you to all veterans for your service. You represent the best of us and the best of America. Thank you to the families of our military men and women who carry the weight of sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day.
