Into the Light: A Spring Equinox Sound Bath, Meditation & Energy Healing

On Friday, March 20th from 6:00 – 7:15 PM, VALO is hosting Into the Light: A Spring Equinox Sound Bath, Meditation & Energy Healing — an evening co-created by two intuitive practitioners who are bringing their work together in one seamless, layered experience.

A note from Megan:

When you enter my healing room, you will notice a candle burning. This is my daily act of remembrance for my clients who have passed on while fighting cancer. I began this after my client and friend Jessica crossed over last summer after a very hard battle with cancer. I feel her with me every day at VALO and miss her terribly.

Today, I light my candle in Kelly’s honor. Today was to be our first oncology massage together. Her loving husband and young children called me to let me know she crossed over last night after a long fight with Metastatic Breast Cancer. I can tell she was an amazing mother and wife by how they are handling it. Her daughter reminded me that while “her body is no longer here, her spirit is.” So wise. They were incredibly lucky to love one another. Sending her soul all of my love today as she transitions into her next existence and so much love and compassion to her family.

This never gets easy. Even though I didn’t meet Kelly, I was so looking forward to caring for her in my haven at VALO created specially for people just like her. Today, I will cry and pray for her family. I’m so blessed and honored to be able to share such sacred moments with individuals and families navigating the unimaginable.

On Sunday, February 15 from 3–5 PM, we’re partnering with Isabel Hulkhower, LAc of Ashburn Natural Wellness to bring affordable, restorative acupuncture to our community in The Gathering Room.

Community acupuncture is a beautiful, accessible way to receive care. You’ll relax in a cozy shared space while Isabel offers gentle acupuncture treatments designed to support your nervous system, stress levels, sleep, pain relief, and overall balance.
