📞 Callers may experience slightly longer call processing times due to surges in emergencies.
📞 Allow the Call Taker to guide the conversation. Call Takers are trained to ask specific questions in a structured order to quickly determine the most appropriate response. Answering questions succinctly results in faster call processing.
📞 Do your best to know your location or describe your surroundings. If you’re involved in a crash and don’t have an exact address, share details such as nearby landmarks, mile markers or intersections.
📞 Do NOT hang up if you accidentally call 9-1-1! Remain on the line and advise that there is no emergency.

🚗 We encourage everyone to stay home and stay off the roads, but if you have to drive, please exercise caution, take it slow, and clear all the snow and ice from your car before you go.
