These online mental health apps look cheap and convenient, but convenience is not the same thing as medical care. The government is filing lawsuits, patients are being harmed, and the companies keep running because a few million dollars in fines means nothing when they make billions. If you do not know what state your doctor is in, what medical school they went to, or how to reach them in an emergency, you are not seeing a doctor. You are seeing a paid actor or worse, AI pretending to be a clinician. Mental health care is not customer service. It is medical treatment that needs training, accountability, and real human oversight.

Who will it be ⁉️

Over 100 interns have joined the Improve Life PLLC Improve Medical Culture community this year from research to marketing to office operations to medical school rotations and each one has made a lasting impact 💫

Our research interns published on COVID-19 and mental health of healthcare workers. As well as reviewed and edited other public health pieces.

Our office assistants helped organize community events, assisted with the grand opening of our Ashburn location, and kept our clinics running smoothly across both sites. Even teamed up with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s office!

Our marketing interns created social media campaigns, designed graphics like this one, and helped spread awareness about women’s mental health and Improve Medical Culture 🌸
