At Camp Mariposa, campers and mentors were given the opportunity to paint canvas​ pictures with inspirational words for one of our new WestCare facilities. Sixteen rooms and a conference room were​ decorated with the masterpieces from the camp! 🖌️🎨

"The kids loved doing the paintings, especially after we told them what it was for. For a lot of the kids, this hit close to home for their lives and families. It may just take that one thing that makes a difference, and maybe one of them would be that for someone. There is always a reason for everything, and for everything to just fall into place. At the camp with the kids and painting with them, and then to go firsthand and follow the paintings to where they were going and to put them up in their final place was a blessing for me to see," said Tammy, Program Director - Camp Mariposa Kentucky.

Join us in congratulating Anna Bevins on her promotion to Clinical Director! 👏

Anna’s journey with us has been marked by her dedication, expertise, and passion for helping others. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Education from Lindsey Wilson College and has earned professional credentials as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). Most recently, in 2024, Anna achieved her Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) certification.

Anna’s extensive knowledge and compassion have made a profound impact on the individuals and communities we serve. As Clinical Director, she will continue to lead our WestCare Kentucky team with the same commitment to excellence she has always shown.

"Had I not gone through WestCare’s program, I probably would have never made it in this job. But I love what I do and I'm glad what I went through is now a strength I use to help uplift others," said Anna.
