Leading by example. Building legends. Empowering dreams.
We honor those who have paved the way… like Keith Jones, the first Black athletic trainer in the NBA and Dr. Marsha Grant-Ford who became the first Black female certified athletic trainer in 1975. These trailblazers shattered barriers, with Ronnie Barnes later elected to the National Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame in 1999.
You never know how you will impact the next generation. We celebrate athletic trainers who show leadership on and off the field; The ones who are dedicated to discipline and excellence. The athletic trainers who promote community through service and empowerment.
