❄️ Important Winter Weather Update for Our Community ❄️

North Carolina is under a State of Emergency as a winter storm is expected to impact much of the state this weekend, bringing snow, ice, hazardous travel conditions, and the possibility of power outages. Officials are urging everyone to prepare now and stay safe.

👉 Here’s what you can do to stay safe:
• Monitor local weather updates and alerts.
• Charge cell phones and essential devices.
• Stock up on food, water, and supplies. Be sure to have your medications.
• Prepare an emergency kit for your home and vehicle.
• Avoid travel once conditions begin; only go out if it’s absolutely necessary.
• Check on elderly neighbors and those who may need extra help.
