Surgery fixes the labrum but rehab determines your comeback.

Who you choose for rehab after surgery matters, arguably more than who does your surgery.

As we close out 2025 and kick off 2026, it feels like the perfect time to celebrate these three incredible UNCA athletes. Meet Lizzie, Kendall, and Zaley! All three were UNCA soccer players that we’ve had the pleasure of working with. Through injuries, challenges, and countless hours of hard work, they continued to show up, fight, and stay in the game. Over our time working together, they’ve truly come to feel like family. We are so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see what they do next. Congratulations, Lady Bulldogs! 💙

📢 ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT!

Meet Alex, a current physical therapy student at WCU and an absolute example of grit and determination. Less than a year ago, Alex underwent ACL reconstruction. Through consistent physical therapy with us and a whole lot of hard work on his end, he accomplished something incredible.

He completed a half marathon within the same calendar year of his surgery.💪🏼

Recovering from an ACL reconstruction is no small task—let alone returning to long-distance running this quickly. Alex showed up, put in the work, and proved what’s possible with dedication and smart rehab.

It’s Holiday season at Vitalee PT! What would you say is the most overrated Christmas movie?

This year, we’re partnering with a local organization, Children First, to support kids and families in our community during the holidays.

They’ve received a record-breaking number of sponsorship requests — 334 children in Buncombe County are in need this season. So far, 222 have been sponsored (amazing!), but 112 children still need support.

At Vitalee PT, we’re committing to sponsoring 10 children — but we want to do more together. Our goal is for our clinic community to sponsor 15 additional kids, bringing us to 25 children supported this year.

If you feel called to help us reach this goal, you can:

2️⃣ Send us a DM and we’ll connect you with Natalie at Children First, who can assign you a child, share their wishlist, or explain how to contribute monetarily if shopping isn’t possible.
