A big THANK YOU to everyone who came out to our Bountiful Hope Brunch fundraiser yesterday at the Country Club of Asheville. Thank you to from for her excellent emcee work and to our keynote speaker, The Mental Health Comedian, Frank King. Frank talked about the need to keep fighting to prevent su***de, the urgency to provide high-quality and accessible mental health programming, and how CooperRiis Healing Community has been serving the community for 22 years. It was terrific seeing so many friendly faces out there. The energy was electric.

With over 13 years of experience in long-term mental health treatment, Jessica has dedicated her career to making a meaningful impact in the lives of those who need it most. From leading teams in direct care to overseeing Admissions and Referral Relations, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of compassionate care and authentic connection on mental well-being.

As Director of Marketing and Business Development at CooperRiis, Jessica is passionate about sharing and educating others about a program she truly believes in. Through building strong relationships with referral partners, she works to ensure that more individuals have access to the holistic, person-centered care they deserve.

Jessica is guided by a deep commitment to integrity, connection, and community. She believes meaningful relationships are at the heart of healing and that open communication is key to creating lasting change. CooperRiis reflects these same values—an alignment that fuels her passion and purpose every day.
Originally from New Mexico, Jessica recently relocated to Black Mountain, where she enjoys hiking, live music, and exploring the outdoors with her pups.

NEVER FORGET!!! 24 years ago, 9/11/2001

●246 people went to sleep, knowing they had a flight.

● 2,606 people went to sleep to work the next morning

● 343 firefighters went to sleep knowing they might fight a fire.

●60 police officers went to sleep, ready for morning patrol.

● 8 paramedics went to sleep before their morning shift.

On 9/11/01, NONE of them saw past 9:59am.

REMEMBER THOSE WHO PERISHED.

We’re deeply grateful to our incredible team for building CRA into the highly regarded and respected program it is today. Entering the world of insurance and creating a short-term program—while staying true to the CooperRiis identity—has been both a challenge and a gift.
