Celebrating Black History Month today and every day.

Asheville is our home, and we’re honored to be the only Black-owned chiropractic office in the area, serving this community since opening our doors in August of 2021. As two of only a few Black healthcare practitioners locally, this month is a reminder of the importance of representation, access, and visibility in healthcare.

Black history is not just something we reflect on, it’s something we live, build, and contribute to daily through care and education. We’re proud to be here, to serve families at every stage of life, and to continue creating space for wellness that is inclusive and empowering.

This month, we also encourage you to intentionally support other Black-owned businesses in our community. We’ll be sharing a few we love and recommend, be sure to check them out and show them some love.

This little one was less than two weeks earthside when his parents decided Chiropractic was the way for him. This care is gentle, intentional, and appropriate.

As Chiropractic Physicians and parents practicing here in Asheville, we don’t take pediatric care lightly. Birth is a big deal. Even when everything goes “right,” a newborn’s spine and nervous system experience stress as they transition into the world.

So what does chiropractic care actually look like for a baby this young?
👶 Newborn-specific care includes:
• Extremely light, fingertip pressure — no force, no twisting, no popping
• Techniques designed specifically for infant anatomy
• A focus on supporting comfort, mobility, and nervous system communication
📚 Why we care so much about this stage:
The nervous system is the control center for the body. In those early weeks, it’s learning how to regulate movement, digestion, sleep, and adaptation to the environment. Gentle chiropractic care is about supporting that process — not “fixing” babies, but honoring how intelligently their bodies are designed to grow.

✨ Happy 1st Birthday to Our Sweet Girl! ✨

Today we’re celebrating one whole year of watching our daughter grow, laugh, and shine. We’re blessed to have the best chiropractic family that has welcomed and loved her since day one. We are grateful that we are able to give her the experience of chiropractic from the very start!

From gentle adjustments since birth to supportive supplementation, we’ve focused on giving her the best start we can. For us, chiropractic has always been about supporting the body’s natural ability to function, adapt, and thrive. We apply this same philosophy to patients of all ages and stages.

Pediatric chiropractic care uses extremely gentle techniques tailored to little ones and aims to support comfort, mobility, and healthy development. And while every child and every body is unique, we love sharing the message that wellness isn’t just for adults, it’s for the whole family.
