In Collaboration with the YMCA, we will be offering
Steady Ground: Holding Space for Caregivers of Teens
Caring for a teen can feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain at times. This supportive, group experience is designed to offer caregivers a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect—with themselves and their relationship with their teen.
This is not a parenting class. Instead, it’s a space to build emotional support skills that help caregivers stay grounded in the midst of hard moments. Through guided reflection, conversation, and simple practices, participants will explore connection, shame, empathy, and the pressure of “shoulds” in caregiving—all within a supportive community of peers.
Program Details:
Reuter YMCA:
- April 18th, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
- April 28th, 5 p.m. 7 p.m.

We believe that when caregivers feel supported, they are better able to support their teens—and no one should have to navigate this alone.
In collaboration with NAMI Western Carolina, we’re excited to share an upcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers in our community:
