Dear Friends and Supporters,

As you are aware, the hearing on my medical license and the constitutionality of the McNally law was scheduled for Monday at 1pm in Jonesborough, TN.

The State made a last-minute change, and the hearing will now be on Zoom. There will be no one at the courthouse.

We can only speculate as to the reasons, but I am sure they were aware that there was going to be a large turn-out. I apologize to everyone, including all the physicians who re-scheduled their patients, and the lawyers who cancelled court dates to attend the hearing.

We can still impress upon them the importance of this matter.

Please log in to the Zoom address below on Monday at 1:15. Even if you cannot stay for the entire hearing, it would be nice to let the Justices know that there is community support.

Thanks for your help.

Tom

The hearing will be livestreamed, and here is the YouTube livestream link for you to share with the general public for them to view the hearing. https://www.youtube.com/live/AROrCvg52_Q As a reminder, the YouTube link will not allow anyone to enter the virtual Zoom hearing room; it will only allow people to view the hearing.

Tom,
Your fearless willingness to address the opiates crisis head-on, as thousands died and most of medicine intentionally looked away, saved many more thousands of Appalachian lives and inspired colleagues. That politicians would usurp your powerful work and message by portraying you and your team as anything but absolute heroes cost you almost everything you ever built and owned, creating hardships for you and your family, while betraying your patients in 3 states.
How do you spell demagoguery?
