We showed our gratitude by delivering lunch to community partner staff, making donations to support their missions, and encouraging our team to volunteer with these vital organizations and others in the communities where they live.

This week, Aeroflow team members brought their smiling faces, busy hands, and happy hearts to volunteer with Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) to support the Christmas Angel Present Sorting event, helping organize gifts that will bring holiday joy to local families in need.

We are grateful for the men and women who have served, and for those on our own team who continue to exemplify the values of dedication, compassion, and service every day.

Thank you for your commitment to protecting our freedoms and strengthening our communities.

While a simple "thank you" is always appreciated, there are many meaningful ways to show your gratitude and support for veterans and their families:

• Attend a Local Event: Look for a parade, ceremony, or commemorative event nearby and participate.

• Support Veteran Organizations by donating your time to organizations dedicated to helping veterans, such as the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Wounded Warrior Project, or local veteran assistance groups.

• Reach Out: If you know a veteran, take a few minutes to personally thank them for their service. A conversation can go a long way.

One year ago, Hurricane Helene brought unprecedented challenges to Western North Carolina, where Aeroflow Health is headquartered.

Today, we want to recognize the incredible resilience of our team members who gave so much back to our community despite the devastation.

The spirit of Western North Carolina shone brightly in the face of adversity. Local organizations, businesses, and individuals stepped up in remarkable ways to help one another through the storm. We are inspired by these stories of resilience, recovery, and rebuilding.

As we continue to heal and rebuild, there are many ways we can all continue to help. If you're looking for opportunities to give or receive support, here are a few ideas:

Ways to Give Back:
• Support Local Organizations: Consider donating to or volunteering with local non-profits. In Asheville, United Way of Asheville and Buncombe County, Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, Asheville Area Habitat for Humanity, and Haywood Street Community Development are still on the ground working on long-term recovery efforts.
