For a lot of my kiddos high school can track as too high a demand environment which pushes their nervous systems to exhaustion. This isn’t a character flaw this is a system failure.

So many autistic kids are being medicated for better school performance and as a behavior control… what if we targeted calming down their nervous systems so they can learn vs increasing focus with meds that dump cortisol into an already flooded system?
