As we close the books on 2025, we want to thank all of our partners who helped us in carrying out our mission. It takes all of us working in coordination for patients to have positive outcomes. 2025 was full of challenges, but the silver linings always out numbered the dark clouds. We welcomed new team members, celebrated retiring veterans, and worked tirelessly to provide the best care possible. And with the new year upon us, we're ready for all that awaits us. Our Infant Transport Team plays a critical role in newborn care, providing advanced medical support during the transport of our smallest patients. With specialized training, mobile neonatal equipment and a focus on safety, this team of nurses and respiratory therapists ensures continuity of care for babies who need it most.

Our Level III NICU serves infants from our region, as well as from the neighboring states of Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. Each year, approximately 200 infants are transferred to our hospital to receive care.

Only our mechanics would take the red Christmas helicopter decoration at our base and paint it to match our aircraft… down to the details. 💚

If they care this much about a holiday decoration… imagine the pride they take in the machine that carries our crew & patients every day! We’re beyond lucky to have the best maintenance team in the business. ✨They keep us safe, airworthy… and apparently festive too. We’ll send an updated photo of the finished product once it’s out of the shop! 😉

Our hearts are heavy after hearing the news of a serious Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter crash in Middle Tennessee. Details are limited at this time, but our hearts are with those affected. We are sending our thoughts, prayers, and love to the entire Vanderbilt LifeFlight family and all those impacted by this tragedy. 💛🚁🙏
