We can't ever take for granted the service and sacrifice our veteran's have made for us. We are grateful for all of those who have served our country. Our hearts are heavy after hearing the news of a serious Vanderbilt LifeFlight helicopter crash in Middle Tennessee. Details are limited at this time, but our hearts are with those affected. We are sending our thoughts, prayers, and love to the entire Vanderbilt LifeFlight family and all those impacted by this tragedy. 💛🚁🙏

39 years ago today, MAMA began serving the communities of WNC. Since then, we have seen a lot of changes, but we have always made it our mission to provide the highest level of care on each and every flight. And, we will continue to do that for years to come.

One year ago everything changed in WNC. Hurricane Helene brought unprecedented damage and upended so many lives. But in the course of a year, we have witnessed amazing acts of selflessness and seen overwhelming generosity, as the region has worked to recover. Looking back, we can't help but pause and feel grateful to the many amazing heroes who played a role in helping our little corner of the world. May we all continue to take care of one another. We promise to wake up each morning and strive to do the same...

As Neonatal Nurses Week wraps up, we would like to give a shout out to our very own NICU flight nurses & respiratory therapists who stand ready at any moment—whether they are pulled to the aircraft or the truck—to bring critical care to our most fragile patients in WNC. 👶🚁🚑

Their skill, heart, and calm in the face of urgency make a life-changing difference for the tiniest fighters and their families. Thanks for all you do; in the hospital, ambulance, and in the sky. 💙
