Melodie does an amazing job making speech therapy fun and enjoyable. My four-year-old son started off resistant to the idea, but Ms. Melodie quickly won him over. He looked forward to going and working with her each week. I was amazed at how quickly he progressed. She was always kind and patient with my son and quick to praise him when he picked up what she was teaching. Her schedule allowed us to make appointments that worked best for us. Connections Speech and Language Therapy was a fantastic clinic for my 2-year-old son to start speech therapy. My son made great progress working with Melodie. She created an atmosphere where he developed confidence and skills to use speech for communication. He always looked forward to his sessions and enjoyed the fun ways Melodie used play to improve his speech. We would absolutely recommend Connections to any family looking for an experienced and thoughtful therapist.

If you know Ms. Mel, you know that she loves frogs - they can be found all around her office. A sweet kiddo painted this frog for her - isn't it cool?

This review arrived in the mail today:
Melodie was wonderful with both of our boys! Our youngest loved going to visit "Ms. Melodie." He not only thrived in the speech therapy, he genuinely enjoyed going to see her. Her age-appropriate games and activities were spot-on. We highly recommend her!

Connections Speech and Language Therapy has moved to 105A Charlotte Highway Asheville, NC 28803. This location is easily accessible from all directions. Connections Speech and Language Therapy is now a solo practice with a focus on the pediatric population. Melodie Meadows, MS, CCC-SLP has over thirty years experience working with young children. She has an excellent reputation in terms of client relationships and outcomes. She is currently accepting new clients, both for in-office and teletherapy sessions.
