Nope, I didn't fall off a mountain or ghost y'all-I've just been deep in a season of FULL-ASS LIVING.

And trust me....A LOT Of coffee is involved in the process of the wonderful chaos! Someone send me more coffee please!

At first, I was embarrassed.
I told myself, “It’s not really happening. I’m fine. I’ll push through like I always do.”

I didn’t want to be “that woman” and I was even accused of it:
The one who complains.
The one who makes excuses.
The one who isn’t strong enough.

Then came the dismissals—from others and myself (hello gaslighting):
“Menopause is just a fad.”
“It’s a buzzword now.”
“You just need more sleep and less stress.”

But here’s what WAS real:
– Weight gain that wouldn’t budge
– Mood swings that made me feel like I was unraveling
– Hot flashes that hit at the worst times
– Brain fog so heavy I couldn’t finish thoughts
– Depression that settled in quietly like it belonged
– Fatigue so deep it crushed willpower
– And then—hair loss. The top/back of my head? Bald. Along with bald spots all over.

I was devastated.
I cried. I raged. I grieved.
And then—I said f**k it and shaved my head to a Mohawk.

That Mohawk?
It was rebellion. Power.
A middle finger to silence.
A declaration: “I’m done hiding.”

I became my own advocate.
And now? I’m sharing to be one for you too.

Not because I’m an expert.
Not a doctor or specialist.
Just a woman living this, learning, and refusing to suffer in silence.

Because menopause doesn’t have to suck.
You deserve real care, real answers, real support.

The longest day of the year just showed up—and so did we.

This isn’t just a sunset.
It’s a full-body reminder:
You weren’t made to play small.

And you sure as hell weren’t put here to dim your light for anyone.

This season?
We expand.
Into more sunlight.
More sweat.
More strength.
More hell yes to everything that sets our souls on fire.

Today, I DNF’d my race.
And I’m sitting with a wild, messy mix of emotions: pride, disappointment, relief, joy… and clarity.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Another thing to thank menopause for? Maybe.
Or maybe it’s just this new phase of life reminding me that strength doesn’t always look like finishing.
Sometimes, it looks like knowing when to let go.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Running has kept me alive since middle school.
It taught me survival.
It showed me who I was—and who I could become.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But lately, it’s been teaching me something deeper:
That the strongest thing you can do is release the old goals to make space for soul-aligned ones.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Last year, perimenopause hit like a freight train—depression, exhaustion, brain fog, and a total disconnect from movement.
I cried through workouts.
Felt like a stranger in a body I used to trust.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But I fought for myself.
Got support. Started hormone therapy.
My energy is returning. My brain-less foggy.
And with it came bravery.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bravery to rest.
Bravery to rebuild.
Bravery to grow into a version of me that’s bolder, softer, and stronger in ways that don’t need to be proven.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This morning, I asked: What’s my WHY today?
And it wasn’t about finishing.
It was about honoring exactly where I am.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I believe in chasing BIG HAIRY ASS GOALS—goals so big they sound wild until I grow into the person who can achieve them.
But those goals shift, because I shift.
Every rep, every mile, every start line, every mountain I climb teaches me something new.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m not done with running—hell no.
But I am done chasing a finish line that was never really mine.
Maybe that goal wasn’t meant for me.
And maybe that’s exactly the point.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There was a time when a DNF would’ve wrecked me.
Now, it frees me.
Because I didn’t quit—I chose me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Huge congrats to the finishers today—what a day. 🦾
And to the rest of us?
We’re still in it. Just climbing a different mountain.

GLOBAL RUNNING DAY

Let’s take a moment to celebrate the magic of movement.

Running has been so many things to me over the years…
My therapy.
My rebellion.
My joy.
My reset button when the world feels heavy.
My celebration when it feels light.

It’s where I go to feel free.
To remember who TF I am.
To quiet the noise and connect—to nature, to my body, and to other badass humans who GET IT.

I’ve cried on runs, laughed on runs, healed, grown, and come alive out there on the trails.
I’ve run through heartbreak, burnout, breakthroughs, and finish lines I once thought were impossible.

And the wild thing? It’s still teaching me.
How to be present.
How to breathe through hard things.
How strong I really am—inside and out.

And yeah… at races I run in a unicorn outfit.
Because why the hell not?

That outfit isn’t just about laughs (though it delivers those too)—it’s about joy.
It’s about making people smile, breaking the tension, and reminding myself that running doesn’t have to be serious to be real.
It’s about standing out, leaning into fun, and leading with heart.
Because I believe you can be both fierce and full of glitter!✨
You can chase big goals and make space for play.
You can run far, feel deep, and still be the weirdest one at the aid station—and damn proud of it.

So today, on Global Running Day, I’m not just celebrating miles…
I’m celebrating movement.
The kind that builds confidence.
The kind that saves your sanity.
The kind that reminds you that you are f^cking UNSTOPPABLE.

To every RUNNER out there moving your body in your own way—whether you’re sprinting up a mountain, shuffling through your neighborhood, or dancing in your kitchen in a cape—you’re part of something bigger.
A global, gritty, joy-fueled community that chooses to show up and keep going.

So lace up.
Run wild.
Wear the costume.
And never forget why you started.

F^CK IT FRIDAY with a little tough 🖤🖤

I had to unlearn something that had its claws in me deep:

That my worth was tied to DOING.
That rest was lazy.
That if I wasn’t grinding, I was falling behind.

Spoiler alert: That’s a BIG fat lie.

I had to burn that belief to the f^cking ground and rebuild from TRUTH.
And here’s what I know now:

🖤 You don’t have to earn rest.
🖤 You don’t have to prove your worth.
🖤 You just have to show the hell up—real, raw, and rooted in gratitude.

These days, staying grounded isn’t optional—it’s my survival strategy.

Gratitude.
Nature.
Trail time.
“Lift heavy s**t” sessions.
MOVEMENT.

Those are my anchors.
They keep me centered—in my business, my relationships, and my own growth.

And now?
I’m here to help other women do the same.

To get outside.
To get strong.
To get a little f^cking wild again.

To stop shrinking.
To stop apologizing.
To start leading from their inner badass.

Because let’s be honest—
This world doesn’t need more perfect women.
It needs more present, powerful, grounded AF women who know exactly who they are.

So lace up.
Step out.
Lift heavy.
Breathe deep.

You’re not lost—
You’re just a little sweaty and muddy.

Let’s talk about the POWER of a good ol’ fashioned NO. You read that right….NO.

NO to shrinking ourselves to fit someone else’s comfort zone.

NO to chasing a number on the scale like it’s gonna hand us our worth.

NO to being the “nice girl” when our soul is screaming for boundaries.

NO to burnout being worn like a damn badge of honor.

NO to staying quiet just to keep the peace—especially when our truth is a f^cking mic drop.
💥 BOOM 💥

We’re done bending over backwards for rules we didn’t write.
We’re done being palatable.
We’re done with “just be grateful” when we know we’re made for more.
We’re not here to be small, silent, or sorry.
*stop saying-SORRY.

We’re here to take up space.
To speak loud.
To move bold.
To say F^CK IT to standards that never included us in the first place.

So this Friday, we raise a middle finger 🖕🏻 to anything that dims our light, and we step fully into our rebellion—with strength, with sass, and with zero apologies.
