Our Story

Addiction is a lonely place to be, but when you come to ACCADA for help, you’ll find people who understand what you’re going through and who want to listen to your story. Everyone has a unique story to tell, so we provide unique, personalized drug and alcohol treatment plans that fit with your individual needs. We’re here right alongside you as you write a new story for your life: the story of recovery.

Please know that you don’t have to have it all together to reach out for help! Here at ACCADA, we’ve had our own losses, and we know what rock bottom looks like. We also know how hard it can be to take that first step to reach out, so we provide a variety of ways for you to get in touch with us: either call us at 419-289-7675; stop in and see us at 310 College Avenue in Ashland; or contact us using the form on our website. We provide an assortment of services that will help you on the road to recovery, including a large variety of recovery services, educational programs, prevention programs, recovery houses, and a driver intervention program.

Established in 1976, our long history in Ashland County means we know our community well—its unique struggles, challenges, and joys. And the community knows us well too—knows us, and trusts us, because of our longstanding commitment to them and because of the many other trusted organizations who work with us, such as the Ashland County Mental Health and Recovery Board. Additionally, we’re certified by several organizations, including the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services—so you know you can count on us to provide the very best recovery help available.

Don’t wait another day to start writing a new story for your life! Our highly qualified counselors and staff are eager to get to know you, and they’ll treat you with the respect and compassion you deserve as we work together to bring hope and healing to your life.
