We are so excited to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Gwen O’Bien. Gwen will be an amazing addition to our Ashland clinic seeing both ortho and pelvic heath patients starting in mid May.
Gwen graduated in the first class from Oregon State University’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2024. She has pursued post-graduate training focused on pelvic health, blood flow restriction therapy, and working with hypermobile bodies. Her clinical interests include pelvic health, hypermobility, and working with youth athletes. She has experience treating a wide range of populations from professional athletes to weekend warriors, from teens to older adults and core to her practice is a belief that every body deserves to find joy through movement.
She has experience working across a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, pelvic health, acute care, skilled nursing, and home-based care which has instilled a holistic perspective on addressing patient care. She is passionate about providing individualized, whole-body care that supports each patient’s unique goals and lifestyle.
Gwen grew up in Oregon and values staying connected to the communities she serves. In addition to her work as a physical therapist, she has over 14 years of experience performing and coaching circus arts, which informs her approach to movement, body awareness, and rehabilitation. She is also an avid adaptive sports volunteer. She enjoys helping patients return to the activities they love, whether that’s daily function, sport, or performance.
