In Loving Memory of
Keith Andrew McClelland
1989 – 2025
Keith Andrew McClelland, 36, of Westwood, Kentucky, husband of Holli Adkins McClelland, passed away Tuesday morning, December 9th, at his home. Keith was born October 5, 1989, in Ashland, Kentucky, the son of Garry McClelland and the late Elizabeth Lewis McClelland. He worked as a diesel mechanic with Boyd CAT, where he proudly dedicated 15 years to a craft he loved.
Anyone who knew Keith knew two things for certain: he adored his family and he never missed a chance to make someone laugh.
Keith and Holli were high school sweethearts who began their life together in 2006. They grew up side by side, building a life filled with laughter, challenges, inside jokes, and unconditional love. They married in 2012 and spent every year since proving what it means to be true partners in every sense of the word.
Keith was the proud girl dad of Drew and Arden, his two greatest joys. Whether he was building forts, fixing toys, or letting the girls join him in the garage, he made every ordinary moment feel like a grand adventure. He loved Holli with a steady and loyal heart, and he lived every day making sure his girls knew they were treasured beyond measure.
A true lover of all creatures great and small, Keith was famous for catching just about anything. Snakes, turtles, birds, or any random critter passing through the yard—if it moved, Keith was already halfway to it. His gentle heart for animals carried over to his own pets, especially his beloved dogs Remi, Maize, and R***r. He was so proud (and honestly a little amused) that his chickens had finally started laying eggs. Those simple joys lit him up.
Keith was also the prankster of pranksters, always ready with a joke, a trick, or the perfect one-liner to make everyone laugh. And if something was broken, people knew to call Keith. Dependable does not begin to describe him. He showed up, he fixed it, and he did it with a grin.
When he wasn’t working or helping someone else, you could find him watching the Reds, tinkering in his garage, playing outside with his girls, or tending to the animals that made life entertaining.
Keith is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Lewis McClelland.
He is survived by his wife, Holli; his daughters, Drew and Arden; his father, Garry McClelland; and his sisters, Mary (Tom) Slaughter and Amanda Cozad.
He leaves behind a large and loving group of nieces and nephews whom he adored: William, Caleb, Italy, Saraya, Aspen, Oaklee, Ransom, Evie, and Vonnie.
Keith lived a life full of laughter, love, curiosity, and a deep devotion to the people he cared for. Though his time here was far too short, the stories he created, the joy he brought, and the way he made people feel safe, supported, and smiling will remain forever.
In true Keith style, the family requests that everyone wear flannels, jeans, and ball caps to his Celebration of Life which will be Sunday, December 14th at 7:00 PM at PRESTON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation is from 6:00 PM until service time.
