💙 November is Grieving Children & Families Month 💙 When a child loses someone they love, the grief doesn’t always look like sadness. Children often grieve in waves, and they need safe spaces, trusted adults, and age-appropriate support to heal. Visit kcgcf.org for more information and resources for helping children through grief. If you or someone you love is having thoughts that you would be better off dead or of hurting yourself, reach out for help right away - the 988 Su***de & Crisis Lifeline is available for 24/7 confidential help. Ingesting small quantities of ni****ne can cause nausea, vomiting, and increased heart rate in small children. High concentrations of ni****ne can result in more serious complications for children, including respiratory failure, seizures, and death.

From 2020 to 2023, the rate of U.S. ni****ne pouch ingestions among children younger than 6 increased by 761%, according to a study published in July by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

A Michigan health system warns parents after seeing rise in emergency visits for children who swallowed ni****ne pouches, which can cause serious complications in small bodies.
