Did you know that Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) help make speech therapy more accessible for students?
At AIS, we work to increase availability of speech therapy services by teaming up certified SLPs and SLPAs. With the current shortage of SLPs and high caseloads, SLPAs bring more communication support to classrooms — giving students more opportunities to grow their speech, language, and confidence every day!
Benefits of utilizing SLPAs in schools include:
✅ Increased service availability for students
✅ Reduced caseload stress for SLPs
✅ More time for individualized instruction and data collection
✅ Greater continuity of care and support across classrooms
