Although there are numerous ways to assess one's risk for CVD, the most useful and preventative is the C-reactive protein test. C-reactive protein is a protein produced in your liver in response to inflammation. This inflammation can be caused by numerous factors including: chronic infections; toxins; deficiencies of critical nutrients such as vitamin C, bioflavonoids and omega 3 fats; injuries that have not healed; and damage to blood vessels from a combination of the above factors.

Men are increasingly turning to drugs to regain their masculine vigor and paying a heavy price for this choice. One of my best friends recently died from a massive heart attack, very likely brought on by a popular Erectile Dysfunction (ED) drug.

Despite having clear warnings that these drugs and others, such as testosterone therapy, are potentially very dangerous, men are ignoring the warnings. Too often men are reaching for pharmaceuticals in a desperate attempt to try to regain the sense of confidence and vitality they had in their youth.
