It's not everyday we leave a review for our own business, but thought this was worth sharing.

Bias, yes. 😇 But I would love to share another side of the coin. To the best of my ability and 20 years of teaching experience, I do hold our faculty and staff to the highest standard of yoga vocation and client experience. It’s not enough to talk the talk. We are a faculty and staff who continue to mentor, learn from each other and grow together.

But beyond the workings of the business, it is an absolute joy to walk the walk with our diverse community of students. Committing to a yoga practice is always met with some degree of life obstacles. It is inspiring to witness our little town’s resilience. The determination to prioritize our mind-body practice is infectious. It transcends the divisive climate in our current world. And it shows on and off the mat!

Our longtime students arrive with curiosity, levity, and a very special non-pretentiousness vibe. They are always so welcoming and helpful to newer students; regardless of age, gender, fitness capabilities, or what it took to get to Yoga.

Our new students arrive conscientious of the space and bravely step into unknown territory.

I can confidently speak for the RVY faculty and staff when I say, Rogue Valley Yoga students are one of the most supportive and inclusive communities out there!

This is Louisa. We met in a Kirtan class with and we said yes to being total beginners together — me on harmonium, her on guitar. It was love at first wobbly, off-beat jam.

We show up once a week to wing it because doing something new with someone you love? That’s the real yoga. That’s nervous system medicine. That’s sacred.

An advanced yoga practice isn’t about mastering the pose. It’s about returning, again and again, with curiosity and courage. About lightening the ego load enough to say: “I’ll try. Even if I suck.”

So find a beginner friend. Say yes to the thing you’ve been avoiding. Let yourself be messy, musical, miraculous.
