I do my best to stay abreast of new information from reliable sources that can help others stay safe, and share it. I try to focus on information that is directly useful, such as which health precautions are proving effective, and which create a false sense of security that can result in their doing more harm than good. This New York Times article explains how plastic shields effect diffusion of aerosols (the tiny moisture droplets through which COVID and many other viruses are spread)
Clear barriers have sprung up at restaurants, nail salons and school classrooms, but most of the time, they do little to stop the spread of the coronavirus.
