This past Saturday, December 6th, the staff of Nelsen Ashland hosted a Tree of Remerbrance Service for our families we served during the period from November 1st, 2024 through October 31st, 2025. We would like to thank everyone who attended. We are very honored and appreciative to be able to serve the families of the Town of Ashland, Hanover County and the surrounding counties of Caroline, Louisa, King William and Henrico. Special thank you to Greg Dean for providing prelude and recessional music, Joshua Patrick Huff for providing pastoral reflection and prayers, and Anne Dueweke for providing solos of O Holy Night and Silent Night. Angel Patton read the poem "The Empty Chair" and lead us in a reading and lighting of the Remerbrance Candles. Following the service, the guest joined us in refreshments and fellowship.

As we approach this season, there are people hurting, feeling lonely, missing someone. Always be kind, you don't know the hurt and pain someone is feeling.

The LORD is near to the brokenhearted And saves those who are crushed in spirit.
