What are Stem Cells?
Stem Cells are specialized cells that your body stores and uses when needed to replace or repair damaged tissue. Large amounts of these cells can be found in the Bone Marrow or Fat. We can take samples from these sites and isolate then concentrate the available stem cells to use in injured or degenerated areas to promote healing and restoration. This can be a highly effective treatment for some painful conditions.

What is RIT?

Regenerative Interventional Therapy (RIT) is an umbrella term for any of the treatments we use to harness your bodies innate healing power to promote healing of injured or damaged tissue. These treatments include Prolotherapy, Platelet Rich Plasma and Bone Marrow Concentrate injections. The key to success is to identify the correct source of the ongoing pain, and to deliver the appropriate treatment to that area, often utilizing imaging techniques such as Ultrasound Imaging (sound waves) or Fluoroscopy (X-rays).
Call us at 541-482-1712 to set up a consultation to see if you are a candidate for any of these powerful treatments!

What is Perineural Injection Therapy (PIT)?

PIT is a treatment that utilizes the healing power of sugar —dextrose — to reverse the imbalance in the peripheral nervous system that is the underlying cause of many patients’ chronic pain. When peripheral nerves are constricted or injured from falls, whiplash, scarring, or surgery, the nervous system promotes the production of various proteins that cause chronic pain and inflammation. This process can last for decades if unrecognized and lead to years of suffering. However, with proper evaluation and identification, this common condition can be reversed, and the nervous system healed using a naturally occurring sugar called dextrose. Call us at 541-482-1712 for a consultation to determine if you are a candidate for this treatment.

How do Regenerative Interventions Promote Healing?

At Advanced Pain Care we try to help your body to heal. Often this requires using your body’s own cells to help promote the healing process. Platelets and Stem Cells do this by “signaling” to the body that an area is injured and needs help. These cells, when isolated and concentrated, then injected into an injured area, have the ability to communicate on a microscopic level with the local environment to attract cells and proteins into the area to heal. Injured or degenerated muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments are all very responsive.
