The Winter Bird Walk at Red Brook Metropark is rescheduled for Saturday, January 24th at 9:30. Hope to see you there!

It's an irruption year! An irruption is when large numbers of birds migrate beyond their normal range giving us the opportunity to see birds that rarely to never appear in Ohio. So far this season, the following have been spotted nearby: Redpoll, Pine Siskin, Evening Grosbeak and Bohemian Waxwing!

Starting January 20th, visit the Metroparks with your camera in hand.
The Winter Photo Categories are RECREATION IN THE METROPARKS and NATURE IN THE METROPARKS.
Please remember to note the date and the Metropark the photo was taken in.
The photo must be framed and the maximum size is 16" x 20".
To be entered in the contest, the framed photo must be delivered to the Nature Center at Red Brook Metroparks, 4338 Lake Road West, Building B, Ashtabula by 4:00 PM February 27th.
