With the goal of staying healthy for many years to come, and better sleep for himself and his wife, this health conscious founder came to us ready to improve his life. He arrived well aware of the fact that untreated sleep apnea is estimated to shorten one’s lifespan by 7-10 years.

With a history of having had double jaw surgery 25 years ago without an ideal result, and 2 full mouth reconstructions trying to find a bite that felt comfortable, he had tried it all before. So we discussed his options ranging from idealizing his bite, esthetics, and airway by redoing his previous jaw surgeries and reconstructions OR focusing on just his sleep apnea with a nighttime appliance to improve his airway while sleeping. He decided to skip the jaw surgery and have a full mouth reconstruction to idealize his youthful display, bite and smile.

Using our Ageless Smile Algorithm we designed a smile that was much more natural in tooth color and translucency, had a youthful amount of tooth display, and supported his lips for more fullness. Given his long history he had concerns about getting the bite right, as it had alway been a problem. But in the end he said he had no idea a bite could feel so great! And to his and his wife’s amazement, his snoring stopped as well, even before we made him his nighttime appliance. Now he has a more youthful and more natural appearance, and he saved years of his life by improving his sleep apnea - A truly Ageless Smile.

On her way to a new life in Paris, this woman desired a fresh look. She wanted a more youthful, brighter appearance but was terrified of having veneers that looked fake. So we selected a bleach shade but made sure it had the depth and translucency of natural teeth. In addition, the contours, especially the embrasures (the space between the teeth at the edges) followed that of natural unworn teeth. This is a perfect example of youthful teeth equaling a youthful appearance. She left for Paris confident to meet an entirely new city!

The amount of tooth display is oftentimes more important to a bright youthful smile than even tooth color. By increasing the length of the teeth with 10 veneers, this woman’s smile is brighter, more youthful and radiant, giving her the confidence in her smile she was looking for. The reasons for tooth display below esthetic ideal include natural variation, tooth wear, aging/gravity, and lip filler. With the popularity of lip filler these days, we often see it as the cause of sudden changes and complaints of one’s smile. Whatever the reason, we have the solution.

This young woman was in for a cleaning today, six months after her new smile. This winter she presented with discoloration and accelerated breakdown of her teeth, requesting that we reverse the clock. Ten porcelain veneers gave her back her smile and confidence!

Our favorite Miami Housewives star, interior designer, and hotelier was just back in our office for his new smile. Exactly like the temporaries but the brighter shade he chose. In fact, this is our very brightest shade that he saw on his dear friend and fell in love with, and why he came to us to begin with. He has been looking for a decade for someone who could give him a super bright smile that still looked natural. It’s all in the natural tooth form, texture, and translucency at the edge. He loves his new smile and commented after each visit that he was amazed that he felt like he had no work done after each appointment as he had no pain or sensitivity. Another great Ageless Smile!
