The ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฆ๐๐ฟ๐๐ฒ๐ (๐๐๐ฆ) is looking for well owners to participate in its ๐๐พ๐๐ถ๐ณ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ค๐๐ฎ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ฒ๐๐๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ (๐๐ช๐ค๐จ๐) ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐บ โ a long-term study of groundwater quality across the state.
๐ ๐๐๐ฆ ๐ถ๐ ๐น๐ผ๐ผ๐ธ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ (domestic, irrigation, stock, or public supply). Participation is free, and wells will be sampled every two years.
๐งช Whatโs tested?
Nitrate, ammonia, chloride, sulfate, arsenic, lead, uranium, and more.
๐ง KGS will also sample up to 100 ๐ฑ๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ as a one-time opportunity.
๐ฌ Participants receive their results, and data will be shared publicly with personal info removed.
