Congratulations to Joaquin Solivan who successfully passed his Eagle Board of Review on July 23rd ,to become Troop 65 Eagle Scout # 6.
The Board was presided by Joaquin’s Eagle Scout Service Project Advisor, Mr. Angelo Takos. The Board of Review was composed by Mrs. Kate McCroary Jay, T65 SM, Mrs. Heather Smith, T65 Advancement Chair and other distinguished Pathfinder District and Greater New York Councils representatives.
Our thanks and appreciation to the leadership of Troop 65, past ( SM Thomas Sánchez, SM Aaron Helton) and present, for their hard work and guidance, and to the scouts and families that eagerly participate in the program making it all happen.
We also would like to thank Hour Children Pantry: Kellie Pelhan and Miriam Tielmann for their help and support and allowing Joaquin to do his Eagle project “Hour Children Care Packages” at their organization.

Variety Boys & Girls Club of Queens
Starting the school year. Troop 65 was present at VBGC Back to School Bash. Lots of games and fun for the community.
Our scouts were present to talk about our troop, how to make survival paracord bracelets, enjoyed the fun and one of our scouts got dunked by Mr.Met on his birthday. We had a lot of fun.
