Outside Hip Pain Relief
Outside hip pain relief using an active release technique on the TFL (tensor fasciae latae).
Forearm pressure combined with hip flexion helps reduce lateral hip tension and improve movement. This is a commonly used clinical massage approach for side hip discomfort.
If your hip feels tight when walking, standing, or getting up from a chair, this technique is often helpful.

This is a client-assisted active release for the TFL, using hip flexion while applying thumb pressure to improve tissue response and reduce stubborn lateral hip tension.

It’s often driven by an overworked muscle called the TFL, not just tight glutes.
