Air Fryer apple Fries

Ingredients
2 large apples Honeycrisp or granny smith work great
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 large egg
2T sugar
1 cup panko bread crumbs
1tsp cinnamon
cooking spray

Instructions
1. prep apples, peal, cut into fry sticks
2. Set up coatins stations.
3. Bowl 1: add flour
4. Bowl 2: whick egg and milk together
5. Bowl 3: Mix panko bread crumbs, sugar and cinnamon together
6. Coat apples: Dredge each apple stick in flour, dip into egg mixture, then coat well with the bread crumb mixture.
7. Air fry: Lightly spray coated apple fries with nonstick cooking spray. Place in air fryer basket in a single layer.
8. Cook: Air fryer at 380 degrees, for 7-9 mins, shaking basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
9. Serve, Enjoy warm with caramel dip, yogurt or whipped cream.

National Gorilla Day, more commonly known as World Gorilla Day, is celebrated annually on September 24th to raise awareness for the critically endangered species and support gorilla conservation efforts worldwide. This observance was established in 2017 to honor the plight of gorillas and the work of primatologists like Dian Fossey, whose Karisoke Research Center was founded on this day in 1967.
