Lee Eckert, of Atchison, passed away on December 7, 2025, at The University of Kansas Health System at the age of 85.

Visitation with the family will be held at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services will take place at St. Joseph Church on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM, with a luncheon to follow in the lower level of the church. Private family burial will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in Effingham. Memorials may be left to St. Benedict Catholic School (SBCS) or the Atchison County Community Schools Education Fund (ACCSEF) in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

Mary Evelyn Sexton, a cherished member of the Atchison community, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025.

A visitation will be held at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5:30 PM until 6:30 PM, followed by a funeral service that will begin at 6:30 PM, with Rev. William Mitchell officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the First Christian Church in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.

As we announce the passing of a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend, Charles N. Kramer, he would sure hope that you are not reading this while at work. Charlie would say, “You should be working, not reading about me”. He passed peacefully on October 30, 2025, with his family by his side.

Mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 10:30 am at Mount St. Scholastica Chapel, 801 S. 8th Street in Atchison. He will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be on Thursday evening, Nov. 6th from 5-7:00 pm at the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. The family respectfully requests that, in place of flowers, consider leaving a memorial to the Charles Kramer Scholarship, which the family plans to be presented to Vo-Tech students or to Phoenix Hospice, in gratitude for their care and support, left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
