Happy Administrative Professionals Day to Karen Falk, Executive Assistant at Amberwell Atchison. Karen’s organization, attention to detail, and genuine love for her work help keep the administrative team and Amberwell Atchison running smoothly.

From scheduling and coordinating to tending the flowers outside the facility, Karen brings care and dedication to each aspect of her role. She counts working with the Amberwell Atchison Auxiliary Volunteers as a highlight of her work, and that spirit of service is seen in everything she does. Amberwell Atchison is so grateful to have her!

It's National Healthcare Volunteer Week (April 19–25), and we're taking a moment to thank the Amberwell Atchison Auxiliary Volunteers! From staffing the lobby desk and surgery waiting room to running the Twice Is Nice Thrift Store and Sunflower Gift Shop, they do so much for our patients and community. Their fundraising efforts have helped purchase wheelchairs, infant warmers, vital sign monitors, and more over the years.

They're currently busy getting ready for the 32nd Annual Golf Tournament — June 5th at Atchison Golf Club at Bellevue. Thank you to all of our volunteers. We appreciate you more than you know! 💙

Amberwell Atchison is proud to announce our 2025 Service Award recipients. We had a wonderful time celebrating this deserving group of talented and dedicated individuals at a banquet held at the Atchison Event Center. Recipients were recognized for reaching service milestones ranging from 5 years to 40 years.

These years represent more than time on the job. They reflect the values our team brings to work every day — caring for patients with quality and professionalism, supporting one another through teamwork, and building trust through integrity and respect.

We also announced our 2025 Leader of the Year—Eric Wagner, Director of Facilities.
