Rising Suns Non-Profit Pharmacy Rising Suns Non-Profit Pharmacy is designed to help ease medication costs for people of Southeast Ohio who are underinsured or uninsured. Thank you!

We do not accept insurance and require insurance and income information to determine eligibility. We are a non - profit pharmacy that helps to manage medications for people in our community that are uninsured and underinsured. We are operating with minimal staffing and volunteers as we are a grant based organization. We understand that medications are expensive. We ask that if you are interested in eligibility, please be prepared to provide us with monthly/yearly income, the list of medications you are taking, your insurance status, and current cost of your medications (pharmacy receipts recommended), and potentially more information as needed to fill medications with us. Also, we are a repository pharmacy. This means we accept medication donations mostly from long term care facilities. We have other places that help supply medications including us purchasing medications. We do not carry every medication. We do not carry narcotics, controlled medications or gabapentin. We do not carry specialty medications. You are welcome to review our formulary page on our website (www.risingsunspharmacy.org) or you or you provider may call to find out if we have medication availability. We love serving our community. We sincerely appreciate your support and understanding and we hope to continue building our services! HOURS OF OPERATION:

FRIDAYS 10 - 3

We offer delivery services on most Tuesdays and Thursdays. If you are not able to get to us, we will get your meds to you! (Thanks to our volunteer delivery dude, Dan!)



You may call the pharmacy at 740-447-5025 with inquiries or to make an appointment. Please leave us a detailed message with your request so we can get back to you. We are currently operating on volunteer only staffing and it may take several days to get back to you. We apologize sincerely for this inconvenience and will do our best to address all questions.

Hey all. It's Wednesday, October 29th. Our software system was effected by the Microsoft outage. 😣😤

We have not had our prescription management system since around 11:30am today and it is still out. This means we cannot fill or check prescriptions or arrange any deliveries. 😥😥

We we work diligently to get the rxs ready by Friday.

Our delivery dude will be delivering on Friday, October 31st due to the outage (thank you, Dan!)

We will be open but it will hectic in driving and parking! We are happy to do deliveries on Thursdays and will work with those on a one on one basis. We can come out to the car also!

Hey followers! Rising Suns gets to move locations hopefully in Sept/Oct but needs help with a small amount of construction (building a wall) in the new space. We have an estimate but need to enlist an architect to help? Anyone have anyone that might help us pro-bono?
