We’re thrilled to share the results of our recent donation drive for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG) — a wonderful program of the Athens Community Council on Aging (ACCA) that supports full-time, non-parent caregivers of children.

Thanks to the generosity of our residents, family members, and Sip & Shop vendors, we collected an enormous amount of cleaning supplies — one of the most requested and practical needs for these families. ✨

In addition to the supplies, we also raised over $500 to further support GRG’s incredible mission. 💛

At Arbor Terrace, we’re proud to be part of a community that gives back and lifts up others. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

Celebrate the season at our Fall Sip & Shop at Arbor Terrace Athens on Tuesday, October 28 at 3:00 PM. Guests are invited to stroll through the community, discover unique gifts from local vendors, enjoy seasonal drinks, and take in live music—all while supporting a meaningful cause.

We are collecting cleaning supplies for Grandparents Raising Grandchildren, a program of the Athens Community Council on Aging, or guests may choose to make a monetary donation at the event.

Several members of our Arbor Terrace team gathered as a family, united in admiration for our Memory Care Director, Keshia. Her courage and strength throughout her breast cancer journey have touched us all. Watching her face every challenge with grace, determination, and resilience—both in big moments and quiet ones—has been truly inspiring. Keshia’s recovery is a triumph, and we are so thankful she is back with her team where she belongs.

We are thankful to Dr. Ingrid Newman for our first donation of cleaning supplies to benefit Grandparents Raising Grandchildren (GRG), a program of the Athens Community Council on Aging. We’re collecting cleaning supplies all month for GRG and need your help!

Drop off donations at Arbor Terrace through October 28th—when we’ll present the supplies to GRG during our Sip & Shop event. Supplies can be left at the front desk between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thank you for supporting local families!
