At Foundations Counseling Center, we believe that healing and hope start with meeting basic needs. With the potential disruption of SNAP/EBT benefits due to the ongoing government funding situation, we recognize that many families in our community may experience increased food insecurity.
To help bridge the gap, we’re launching our “Meal in a Bag” Initiative — providing ready-to-make meal kits to local families who may need a little extra support during this uncertain time.
How You Can Help:
Donate nonperishable food items or complete meal kits at either of our Foundations locations 202 Sanders St, or 24127 Huntsville Browns Ferry Rd. Both are located in Athens. If you have any questions, contact us at 256-497-1790
