This past week, Kimes Nursing & Rehab went all out for Spooky Spirit Week, complete with a pumpkin decorating contest, crazy hair day, trunk-or-treat, and a whole-building costume day! 🎃👻

Everyone looked amazing, even our residents joined in on the fun! 🖤

We love celebrating the season together with creativity, laughter, and teamwork.

Our residents had a blast getting creative at our pumpkin painting party! From bright colors to festive designs, each pumpkin was one-of-a-kind.

To make the day even sweeter, everyone enjoyed apple pie and cider floats, the perfect fall treats! 🥧🍎🍂

In long-term care, we see every day how kindness, connection, and compassion can make a difference in someone’s well-being. Mental health deserves the same care and attention as physical health for everyone.

✨Success Story Spotlight!✨

After a few weeks of dedicated rehab, Darlene is heading home this weekend! She’s most excited to reunite with her six cats, and thanks to our amazing therapy team, she’s ready for it!

Our OT team even incorporated exercises to help her safely lift those heavy bags of cat litter - talk about personalized care!

Pictured with Jon, our incredible PTA/DOR, Darlene shared so many kind words about the therapy department and the support she received during her stay.

We’re so proud of your progress, Darlene — and we know your cats can’t wait to have you home! 😺
