Pete came to Kimes Nursing & Rehab following back surgery, where he received rehab and IV medications during his six week post-operative recovery. He made great progress and successfully completed his rehab journey!

Last week, Pete headed to his winter home in Florida, where he’s excited to continue focusing on his physical health, enjoying warmer weather, and planning lots of outdoor walks year-round. 🌞

Thank you Pete for trusting Kimes with your care. We wish you continued strength, health, and sunshine as you keep moving forward!

Wade came to Kimes Nursing & Rehab for rehabilitation following a spinal procedure. He made great progress during his stay and shared that while he’s excited to return home, he plans to be back with us after his next planned surgery. That’s the kind of trust and connection we’re honored to earn. 💙

Join us in celebrating Keith, who is heading home after completing rehab with us following his knee replacement! 🙌

Keith worked closely with our amazing therapy team to rebuild his strength, increase mobility, and regain confidence on his new knee. He’s now ready to return home and get back to the activities he loves, thanks to the dedication of our therapists and his own hard work.

After two cardiac surgeries just five days apart, John, known to many as “Wolfey”, came to Kimes Nursing & Rehab from Select Specialty Hospital to continue his recovery.

Following several weeks of IV therapy and rehabilitation, Wolfey is excited to be heading home and moving into a brand-new apartment that his caregiver, Ken, built during his stay. He can’t wait to put his personal touch on it and return to helping the Vinton County Knox Township Trustees and supporting his community.

Wolfey shared that the best part of his stay at Kimes was our caring staff, and he highly recommends Kimes to anyone needing care.

We are incredibly proud of your progress, Wolfey. Congratulations on your recovery and your new home! 💙✨

We’re excited to announce that Kimes Nursing & Rehab has added a new Respiratory Therapist to our team as we continue expanding our pulmonary capabilities and programming!

Meet Haley Norman! Haley brings a passion for helping our community breathe easier and live fully. In her own words:

"As a Respiratory Therapist, my mission is to help our local community breathe easier and live fully. I know firsthand how important it is to stay active and healthy, whether I'm chasing my kids (or my animals!) or getting in a good run. My passion for a vibrant, active life is exactly why I'm so dedicated to lung health. I'm here to be your partner in achieving your best breathing, so you can focus on what you love most."

We are thrilled to have Haley on board as we grow and strengthen the support we provide to residents with respiratory needs. Welcome to the Kimes family, Haley!

KayLee brings several years of healthcare experience and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Her connection to Kimes is extra special, her grandmother is one of our beloved residents

Outside of work, KayLee stays busy with her two boys, enjoying the outdoors, paddleboarding, kayaking, and cheering them on at baseball and football games. When she’s not on the go, you’ll find her tending to her garden or her many houseplants.

After a fall at home led to an extensive back surgery, Sarah came to Kimes for rehabilitation and recovery. Through hard work, determination, and the support of our incredible therapy team, she’s now ready to return home to her friends and caregivers. 🏡

We’re so proud of Sarah’s progress and the positive attitude she brought to therapy each day. Congratulations, Sarah, your strength and spirit inspire us all!
