Didn't go to the Great American Motorcycle Show in Atlanta, rather stayed home and walked the dogs while Kim, my wife, fell over Harley (dog) and broke her humerus of the left arm, near the ball and socket joint. Fun times in the hospital on a Sunday PM. Well, it coulda been next Sunday. Seriously, she's fine. Can't splint or cast an upper humerus at all. Making do as she uaually does.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you had as good a Christmas as I did. We had Casey's first ever student, Itamar from Israel as a house guest through this AM. Really a nice guy but he sure found it difficult to keep everything Kosher while with us. I never knew all the things Kosher Jewish people must live by. Very interesting. He made our Christmas very special.

My wife, Kim tonight brought home her plaque awarded for her part of the Emmy Award given for the documentary about the Gulf Oil Spill which chronicled the destruction of live caused by that disaster in April of 2010. Wow, now it seems I'm surrounded by a family of excellence!!! (Don't tell them but they've ALL always been EXCELLENT to me.) CONGRATULATIONS, KIM............... AN EMMY!!! I'm proud of you!

Casey has had it really tough this week. He had to spend it in N'awlins going to places in the French Quarter and really liked Bourbon St. He went to Brennan's and choked... not on the food but the prices of the food. Flies the game Sunday Night. Be watching!!

Just got word that my son, Bret got three awards from his company Booze-Allen-Hamilton. As it happens, it was his LAST work day there. The CDC has hired him away and he starts Monday in their Homeland Security bio-terrorism division. One day he'll be the chief... don't doubt me.

Hint to those in need: Never point the nozzle of Super Glue toward you and squeeze the tube to see why it won't come out. Murphy's law prevails. I had a lady earlier in the week to do just that and spent some time in my office having me pick it out with tweezers. Not a lot of fun for either of us. "Here's your sign..."
