Today we are celebrating a massive milestone for a cornerstone of : Alan is celebrating 5 years in recovery! 🧸🌟

Alan truly defines what it looks like to be a strong yet tender person in recovery. He is a huge teddy bear who is admittedly a little rough around the edges—complete with a famously filthy mouth—but he carries a heart of gold.

We could have never guessed just how vital his personal journey would become to the way we support our community today. Now, we are incredibly proud to have him officially on our staff as a Recovery Assistant, where he uses his lived experience to guide others with grit and compassion.

Alan, thank you for choosing recovery every day for the last five years. You are a true testament to the miracle that happens when someone decides to change their life. We are so honored to have you on the team!

7 Years of Healing, Family, and Firsts! 🌟💜

Today, we are bursting with pride as we celebrate a very special milestone: Tiffany’s 7th year in recovery! 🥳

Tiffany holds a special place in the history of Acceptance Recovery Center. She was the very first graduate of our women’s center program and the first participant in our residential family preservation program.

Watching Tiffany’s journey over the last seven years has been a masterclass in resilience. Her family is living proof that families don’t just survive addiction, they can heal, grow, and thrive together. Tiffany, we are so incredibly grateful that you’ve allowed us to be a part of your family’s lives.

Thank you for leading the way and showing everyone what is possible. Here’s to many, many more! 💜✨

New Beginnings and the "Egg" of Potential 🌟

Easter often serves as a universal symbol of renewal and the arrival of Spring. Regardless of tradition, it’s a powerful time to reflect on the journey of recovery—a process that is, at its core, a personal rebirth.

Much like the colorful eggs we hunt for, recovery is about searching for the hidden "gems" within ourselves that we might have lost or forgotten during harder times.

Finding What Matters 🌟

In the spirit of the season, we can look at the "hidden" qualities we are reclaiming. In these photos, we see the simple joy of discovery. Every step forward in recovery is like finding one of those eggs labeled with a value that helps us rebuild:

✅ Gratitude: Finding appreciation for the small, steady things.
✅ Trust: Learning to rely on ourselves and our support systems again.
✅ Freedom: Breaking out of old shells to experience the world in a new light.
✅ Compassion: Giving ourselves the same kindness we offer others.

The Symbolism of the Shell 🌟

Think about the nature of an egg. It’s a protective casing for something that is growing, changing, and preparing for a new life.

1. The Struggle: The process of "breaking out" can be difficult and messy.
2. The Breakthrough: Once the shell cracks, there is no going back to the old confined space.
3. The Life After: What emerges is often more vibrant and resilient than what was inside before.

Celebrating the "Search" 🌟

Recovery isn't a single event; it’s an ongoing search for a better version of ourselves. This weekend, let’s celebrate the courage it takes to keep looking, the strength it takes to hatch a new life, and the beauty of the "colors" we choose to show the world.

Happy Spring, and keep hunting for your own light. 🌷✨
