✨ We’re delighted to welcome Laura Briggs, APC to Counseling Associates for Well-Being!

Laura brings a warm, collaborative, and compassionate approach to her work with adults and couples navigating trauma, anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and complex relational patterns. She creates a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood - even when reaching out for support feels overwhelming.

Laura’s therapeutic style draws from evidence-informed approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Narrative Therapy, helping clients build emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and create healthier connections with themselves and others.

In addition to her clinical work, Laura is also serving as our new Intake & Referral Coordinator, bringing thoughtfulness and care to the very first steps of the therapy process. We are glad to welcome Kerry Kerns, LMSW. He is now accepting new clients in our East Cobb / Marietta office at Counseling Associates for Well-Being. Kerry works with adults and couples (18+) and is a strong fit for those navigating grief and bereavement, as well as anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.
