What a sweet memory we got to share with E.K. Baker Elementary School this morning! ☺️

Our residents were invited to be guest readers, and our very own Carolyn — a retired elementary school teacher — was honored to read to the second grade classes. She read The Foot Book and had the kids laughing and engaged the whole time— just like in her classroom!

There’s nothing better than sharing the love of reading and seeing two generations connect.

This afternoon we hosted a heartwarming round of “Show & Tell” with the theme Old Memories, and what a beautiful hour it was. ❤️

Residents brought special treasures from their rooms and shared the stories behind them. We flipped through Edith’s high school yearbook, learning all about her days as Football Queen and hearing about her high school sweetheart. Carolyn reminisced about her dad, lovingly known as “Shorty,” and memories of her childhood home on Matlock. Barbara shared her treasured family Bible that has been passed down from her great-grandparents. Frankie brought her Golden Bell, a special gift from her father when she was just 10 years old and became a big sister.

So many precious stories were shared, and the laughter and nostalgia filled the room. We all agreed — “Memory Lane” will officially become a monthly activity!

Because every treasure holds a story, and every story deserves to be heard. ✨

We had the BEST time celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday today! 🎉📚

Our sweet friend Lauren Trew came to visit and read some of our all-time favorite Dr. Seuss classics, including The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, and Oh, the Places You’ll Go!.

We enjoyed cupcakes, laughed through trivia, and soaked up all the rhymes and fun! 🧁✨

We are also excited to continue celebrating Red Ribbon Week as we head to Ek Baker on Friday to read to the students. We love sharing the joy of reading and building connections across generations! ❤️📖

What a STRIKE of a day! 🎳☀️

Our amazing residents from Spring Arbor Senior Living hit the lanes on this beautiful Friday and showed us how it’s done! From strikes to spares to a few very enthusiastic gutter balls, there were plenty of laughs, high-fives, and sweet victories. ☺️

Proof that fun has no age limit — just good company and a bowling ball! 💙🎳

Our Annual Sweetheart Lunch was truly a heartwarming celebration 💕

Our residents brought framed photos of their sweethearts and enjoyed a special lunch prepared by our outstanding culinary crew. This day is especially meaningful as we honor the love stories that continue to live on — whether their loved one is no longer with us or they were able to invite their special someone to join them at the table to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Love never leaves; it simply grows deeper. ❤️

After lunch, we were treated to a wonderful performance by Timothy Sings, and we danced the afternoon away together! The smiles, laughter, and sweet memories made it a day we’ll never forget.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who sponsored a sweetheart! Each resident received a bag of chocolates, a heart helium balloon, and beautiful carnation flowers delivered by the amazing EK Baker Cheerleaders.

Our sweet residents are truly blessed — and so are we to celebrate alongside them. 💝

Life is sweet at Spring Arbor! 🍓🍫

Our residents made the most delicious chocolate drip strawberries — and they were just as fun to make as they were to eat! 😋

To top it off, our very own resident Elvis Carter’s grandson, Kevin, came to sing and play some tunes for us. 🎶 There’s nothing better than sweet treats, live music, and time spent together. Moments like these truly are the best! ❤️

Pizza please! 🍕
We had the best time celebrating National Pizza Day at the Pizza Hut! We called ahead, got all of our favorites, and enjoyed amazing customer service. 🙂

Happy 101st Birthday to the one and only Miss Laverne! 🎂🎉

We are beyond blessed to celebrate this amazing milestone with such a special lady who calls Spring Arbor Senior Living home! 💐 This marks the 7th birthday Laverne has celebrated with us, and each one just keeps getting sweeter—just like her!

A proud Tennessee Vols fan 🧡, with a serious love for banana pudding and orange creamsicles, we made sure her birthday party was filled with all her favorites today! And let us tell you… she shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon she states this has been one of the best years of her life! 🙂

101 years young and still shining bright ✨ We are so grateful to celebrate life, laughter, and love with such an incredible woman. Happy Birthday, Laverne! 🧡
