Hey friends 👋 Classic Citiva's co-founder, Alan, is here to talk about how **pHelps and to encourage you all to share how h**p helps you!

The h**p industry is still at risk of a total ban, so we are humbly asking for your help! These are the top 3 ways you can be a part of the fight:

1️⃣ Post a video telling the world how h**p helps you, use the hashtags **phelps and , and tag your representatives (and us - we'd be happy to amplify it on our page)

2️⃣ Email us at hello@classiccitiva.com to share a testimonial - this can be written, audio only, or a full video. Whatever you're comfortable with, we'd be happy to share on our channels!

3️⃣ Contact your representatives directly to tell them to stop the ban! If you need help finding your reps, DM us and we'd be happy to help you find their contact info.

We are confident that we can win this fight if we do it together 🌱🌿

On Friday, we attended the last meeting for the Blue Ribbon Study Committee on Georgia's Medical 🌱🌿 and H**p Policies.

This group of legislators will report back to Georgia's General Assembly their findings and recommendations about medical 🌱🌿 and h**p for this next legislative session. We encourage you to reach out to your state representatives to tell them to:

1. Leave D8 alone!

There was a lot of talk during these meetings about capping the milligrams of D8 allowed on the market and possibly banning it. We strongly oppose both of these suggestions as they have already capped D9 to inadequate levels.

2. Bring back flower!

For all of their talk about processed products, they never acknowledged that raw, sm0keable flower is the most natural 🌱🌿 you could consume. We are strongly in favor of strict testing requirements and safety precautions so that we can have safe access to flower again!

3. Leave h**p drinks alone!

There is no way to equate 🌱🌿 to alcohol although they keep trying. In moderation, h**p drinks have been a lifesaver for some - helping them quit alcohol altogether in some cases. We need to maintain access to these beverages at the current milligram or higher.

We know that the laws are convoluted due to the arbitrary distinction between h**p and Mary Jane and the decades-long War on Drugs. This committee has an opportunity to fix some of this mess.

Jeremy is the newest addition to the Classic Citiva team and he mainly works at our Eastside location.

Jeremy is happy to get you what you need and send you on your way, but he's also willing to dig into the nuances and dive with you down the rabbit hole. He's picked up on the plant education quickly and is always striving to learn more. When you find someone like Jeremy who fits so well with the team, you start to feel like there was never a time when he wasn't on the team although he's only been with us a few short months 🌱

Hey there 👋 we've been getting a lot of new followers on this account so we thought we'd take a second to reintroduce ourselves.

Although we have a new name, we're the same team who's been selling the highest quality h**p products in Athens since 2019 🌱 You've most likely seen us at some event or another, heard us sounding the alarm on plant legislation, or talked to us about this plant and everything it can do. There are some things that have changed since we've changed names:

💚 We have a few new awesome team members who are just as passionate about the plant as the OG team (say hi to Claudia, Eli, and Jeremy the next time you're in the shop!)

💚 SB 494 went into effect at the same time we rebranded (we know, awful timing 😭) and it took our ability to sell flower HOWEVER the GA Dept of AG ruled that we're able to sell pre-r0lls (don't ask us the logic there, we're just happy to have them!)

💚 We have become more politically active than ever before because we believe everyone should have access to the WHOLE PLANT 🌱

💚 We now have TWO Athens locations - our flagship store that you know and love beside AND our new Eastside location beside

As much as things change, they stay the same: we're still the same (com)passionate core team who love the plant and want nothing more than to help you and provide the best products available. Make sure to stop by and say hi, but in the meantime, keep it classic Athens 💚🌱

Another great OLLI - UGA class in the books 📚 (pun intended)

Alan and Todd spoke with a bunch of the OLLI students about the plant and what we're able to provide. As always, there were plenty of goody bags to go around with samples and more information.

We value opportunities like this to get out in the community and educate. If you can think of somewhere we should go to teach another class like this, let us know!
