Meet Kevin! 👋🏻

Kevin is the Anatomy Lab Coordinator at the University of Georgia, School of Veterinary Medicine. His role in the lab includes ordering supplies, cleaning and organizing, assembling skeletons, preparing specimens for student labs, setting up labs, preparing for exams, managing inventory, and ensuring lab safety and compliance with state and federal regulations—along with many other responsibilities that help provide students with a safe and successful learning environment.

Kevin has worked with Athens Cleaning Company for three months now and has thoroughly enjoyed his time here. Kevin feels that ACC has been the most professional company he has worked for, showing consistent respect and support for their staff while maintaining high standards for their clients. The flexibility makes working a second job easy, and the work itself offers a peaceful way to clean and unwind at the end of the day.

Meet Morgan! 👋🏻

Morgan has been a team member since 2024, and she currently serves the Winder area. 💫

By day, she's a teacher — constantly on the move, answering endless "Ms." calls, and managing the constant energy of a classroom. It's fast-paced, loud, and incredibly rewarding.

After a change in income, she was searching for a quiet, flexible way to earn extra money while paying off debt and planning future trips. Athens Cleaning Company made the choice simple for her — it was truly a part-time job for full-time people. Cleaning provides a calm, low-stress break from the noise of teaching, and she's even been able to enjoy some audiobooks and podcasts while she works. Morgan loves how ACC fits seamlessly into her lifestyle.

Throwing it back for to give a well deserved shout-out to an awesome former member of the ACC family - John Gartrell! 👏🏻 John was a member of the team for 8 years. Scroll to see what he's up to now! 🏞️

"This month marks 10 years of being in the cleaning business. A job that started as a side gig turned into something I became passionate about. I could clean decently, so I figured it couldn't be so hard. While I did okay, I quickly learned that there was more to cleaning than just cleaning, especially at a commercial level. Thankfully, the company that hired me was Athens Cleaning Company. They made me see cleaning completely different. I saw how cleaning could benefit my community, I saw the way it made people feel, and opened doors I never thought possible. They supported my growth because I didn't do everything right at first. Everyone there always saw the potential in me and without their continued support for 8 years, I never would have become who I am today. After 8 years, I moved to Alaska and because everything I learned, I was able to transition smoothly as I set out on a new journey in a new state. Now, I clean and manage some of the most beautiful properties in town. I've been a cleaner, a trainer, team leader, regional manager, operations manager. I've cleaned banks, funeral homes, offices, neighborhood pool bathrooms, million dollar homes and everything in between. I've seen the relief it brings business owners and homeowners to have someone they can trust to take care for their property. It's not the most glamorous job at all, but its one I've come to love."

John's story is a perfect example of growing with intention, as well as pursuing excellence always - two of our core values here at Athens Cleaning Company. His journey proves that hard work, dedication and a commitment to excellence can open doors leading to incredible places. 💫

Today we are feeling... grateful. 🌟

One of our core values at ACC is to celebrate with gratitude. Every week when our leadership staff meets, they they are grateful for in their personal lives as well as in the business. They write their gratitude down on sticky notes and stick it on the conference room wall for all to see. Here at ACC, we choose to celebrate with gratitude as a way to honor not only the moment, but the people, experiences, and the lessons that bring us together.

Our sticky note wall may be moving offices, but our gratitude remains. 💙

Meet Brandon! 👋🏻

Brandon is one of our rockstar team members. He goes above and beyond to serve the Lake Oconee Community - both day and night.

During the day, Brandon works as the logistics and retail manager for the six golf shops at Reynolds Lake Oconee. He oversees the golf retail distribution center, keeping merchandise moving by creating tickets, invoicing products, and purchasing inventory from a wide range of vendors. He also leads a small team of two merchandisers who display the products for members.

Brandon loves working for Athens Cleaning Company because the flexible after-hours schedule fits perfectly with his full-time role. It allows him to work close to home, save extra money, and stay on top of additional expenses - all while working a job that he truly enjoys.

We are grateful to have someone like Brandon on our team! 💫💙

Meet Heather! 👋🏻

Heather is one of our beloved team members here at Athens Cleaning Company. She is a student by day, and an Assistant Team Leader by night. 🌟 She recently graduated her Medical Assistant program and will soon begin working full-time in the medical field.

Heather loves being a part of the ACC team because of the flexibility it has given her in such a busy season of life. Between attending church, spending time with family, and going back to school, she has felt supported by ACC every step of the way. She feels truly appreciated and never just a number. The team regularly checks in to ensure she's happy in her role and to see if there is anything they can do to improve her experience. She feels the staff here at ACC have been a blessing in her journey.

Heather brings joy to so many lives, both during the day in the medical field, & at night while supporting her team and serving her community! 💫 We are grateful she is part of the ACC family!

Every year, Athens Cleaning Company runs our Grateful Campaign, delivering mason jars filled with tokens of appreciation — each one wrapped with a bow — to our clients and team members. 🎁🫙🍫 We’re to share that this year has been our biggest round yet. As our team grows, so does our gratitude. We’re thankful for our hardworking crew, the clients who allow us to do what we love, and the supportive community we are proud to serve.
