Join Dr. Arin Levy of Enso Sounds & Healing Arts for an immersive gong meditation designed to cultivate stillness, deep listening, and presence. Surrounded by the resonant tones of up to 16 gongs, singing bowls, and other sound elements, you’ll be guided into a meditative state that supports nervous system regulation, reflection, and restoration.

The session begins with a brief grounding to help us arrive fully in the space and community. We’ll take a moment to appreciate all sounds as healing, and release expectations of our time together. After a short guided meditation, Arin will weave a tapestry of improvised sound into a sonic story that unfolds intuitively. After the sound fades, we’ll rest together in a moment of silence to integrate the experience and appreciate the sounds we heard, and the stillness we feel.

Yoga Nidra & Restorative Yoga 4-class series at Serenity Roots Yoga & Wellness Center in Athens, Ohio November 2, 9, 16, and 23, 2025 with Lonnie Galt-Theis.

Give yourself the gift of deep rest and renewal. Each class offers a sanctuary of stillness through the combined practices of restorative yoga and yoga nidra—gentle, nourishing practices designed to soothe the nervous system, provide compassionate tender care, replenish energy, and reconnect you to your authentic inner essence.

We will begin with restorative poses supported by props to release tension and invite softness. From this place of deep ease, you’ll be guided into the sacred experience of yoga nidra, or yogic sleep—a powerful meditative journey through the layers of body, mind, and soul where we are graced into the pure awareness of turiya, the fourth state of consciousness.

Yoga Nidra is also revered as a goddess—the divine source of creation and dissolution, the spacious womb of rest and awakening. In her presence, we are invited to let go, be held, and remember who we truly are. Experience profound purification, deep rest, and renewal to your truest you.

Expect a peaceful, supported space to soften, release, and be held. This is an invitation to slow down and receive—to restore your energy, clear your mind, and reconnect with the quiet wisdom within.

Open to all levels. No experience necessary.

Please dress in warm, cozy layers and bring a journal. Props and blankets will be provided, and if there’s an extra pillow, blanket, or nourishing item you’d like to bring for your yoga nidra nest please do.

$80 for the whole series. $60 for three sessions and $40 for two sessions.
