🎄 Happy Small Business Saturday from Deeded Oaks! 🎁

Today feels like the perfect day to share something special. For over a decade now, our annual Holiday Make & Take has been one of my favorite traditions — a chance to pour love, care, and creativity into handmade gifts that go straight from our home to yours.

What started as a few simple blends at my kitchen counter has grown into a true family effort… little hands helping label and package, big hearts learning the value of work, and a whole lot of joy woven into every bottle, scrub, and spray.

This year, the farm stand may be new — but the mission hasn’t changed:

Good Morning, Deeded Oaks Friends! 🍁

Y’all know those thoughts that keep you up at night? This has been one of mine lately.

First and foremost—thank you. To every single one of you who shows up, supports us, follows our honor system, and cheers on this dream of ours… from the bottom of our heart, thank you. You are the reason we do what we do, and you are the majority. We see you, we feel your support, and we are so grateful for you. ❤️

The smallest farmer on the property has learned so many life lessons through this stand. In the last few weeks, he’s learned a hard one: that sometimes people make bad choices when no one is watching.

After losing hundreds of dollars in products this month, we’ve decided to take a short pause on stocking the stand for a few days and think through the best path forward. When fruits and veggies went missing, we could still tell ourselves that maybe those folks needed the food more than we needed the money; our loss was mostly in labor, time, and love. But with our handcrafted home and beauty products, the loss is simply too much. We can’t afford to lose full stacks of items day after day.

So this week, Mama and her crew are taking a few days to brainstorm:
How do we keep promoting our mission?
How do we keep sharing our love and bringing joy and homemade goodness to the community while also protecting the work of our hands?
Stay tuned.

Hear me when I say… this will not stop us. 👩🏻‍🌾
(And a little louder) THIS WILL NOT STOP US.

The stand may look empty for a few days, but it will still be filled with love. The prayer request cards will be fully restocked—if you need a prayer, just drop it in the cash box and we’ll continue checking for them.

We’re using this time to make more product, consider some security options, and figure out how to keep the stand going strong for the weeks, months, and years ahead. 💪

In the meantime, if you need any products for Thanksgiving week, send us a message! We’re more than happy to arrange a pickup.

🌼 And FLORALS! Every day I think, surely this is the last bouquet of the season… and this time, it just might be. I cleaned up the garden beds this weekend and cut everything that was left! If more bloom, it’ll be a Thanksgiving miracle. So snag one of these last-of-the-season bouquets while you can!
