Limestone Lodge’s longtime resident, Miss Maebell Whitt, went to her heavenly home this past Saturday. Maebell was a kind, generous, and truly easy-to-love lady. She was famous for creating extraordinary and delicious wedding cakes, and she never met a stranger—always ready with the warmest hug.

We will miss her dearly, but her love and sweetness will remain in our hearts forever. ❤️

🌶️🔥 National Chili Day Celebration! 🔥🌶️

Residents, staff, and families had a spicy good time yesterday celebrating National Chili Day with a family-sponsored Chili Cook-Off! There were so many delicious varieties to sample, and everyone enjoyed tasting and voting for their favorites.

Congratulations to Mrs. Kerri Calvert, sponsor of resident Jonnie Leigeber, who was declared our Chili Cook-Off Champion! 🏆👏

We wrapped up the festivities with homemade banana pudding from sponsor Karla Sulcer and beautifully decorated cupcakes from sponsor Teresa Coulter — the perfect sweet ending to a flavorful day!

And just when we thought the excitement was over… a Hot Habanero made a surprise appearance! 🌶️😄
