🙏 With deep gratitude from the HUHO Foundation (Help Us Help Others)

Because of the generosity of our community and the missions who partnered together for shared impact, we are honored to announce the proceeds from our 2026 Gala – “Threads of Our Nation.”

Together, we raised over $20,000 (net) to support life-changing work serving children and families.

✨ Mission Allocations

🚚 Food For Children, Inc. — $10,000
Toward the purchase of a new or gently used box truck to help deliver food to children and families in need.

💃 Butterflies Are Free to Fly — $5,000
• $2,000 invested in a lightweight portable Bose sound system
• $3,000 in direct program support for their creative dance program serving inner-city children.

❄️ New Life Home — $3,000
Toward a new refrigerator/freezer combination, with the possibility of an additional chest freezer from a partner organization that loves and supports their mission.

🌍 Cairo Women’s Wellness Center – Cairo, Egypt — $3,000
Helping provide nutritious food packs to displaced Southern Sudanese families.

We are incredibly grateful for the missions who partnered with us and the community who showed up with such generosity. When organizations work together, the impact multiplies.

Celebrating a Wonderful Night!

✨ A Beautiful Celebration of Culture! ✨

One of the most special parts of the evening was seeing the richness of cultures represented in such meaningful ways. I lost count of how many were represented: Ukraine, Congo, Nigeria, Phillipines, Scotland, Direct lineage Pilgrims, Canadian, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Hondura,Egypt(mission), Israel, Lebanon, Japan, China, German, and the list goes on and on!

This beautiful Nigerian attire featured the elegant Gele headwrap and Fila, traditional garments that represent dignity, pride, and cultural identity in Nigerian celebrations.

Demitri wore a traditional Filipino Barong, a formal embroidered shirt traditionally made from piña fabric woven from pineapple leaves, symbolizing Filipino heritage and celebration.

Moments like this remind us how powerful it is when people from different traditions come together — each bringing the beauty of their heritage to share with the community. 🌍✨

These young adults have been running the raffle for 4 years and raised almost 10,000 dollars over their tenure to give 100 percent to our charities! We love them and they love the Evening!!! Thank you for helping set up and raising so much! 3 k just this year!!
